It’s almost 3 years now that Tanya & Ryan had met. Tanya was having her winter vacations, while she had thought to take complete advantage of this break from her university. She had already pre planned her trip to Florida to her Aunt Rose who stayed there on her own &has been successfully running her own boutique. This trip wasn’t just meant to have fun, but also learn a few tips from Aunt Rose, as Tanya was herself doing her degree course in Fashion Designing.
Memories of those days when she had met Ryan in Aunt Rose’s boutique were so fresh just as if it was a meeting happened a day before. While Aunt Rose was away, Tanya was handling the Boutique where Ryan the unexpected client drops in with some major requirement for his company’s deal. Tanya had helped him with the best possible designs & required styles. By the end of the day both were impressed by each other, there was some spark in their soul that dint wanted to get dissolved easily. Tanya and Ryan were instantly attracted to each other. Those electrifying sparks started flying. Those small meetings lately turned to everyday lunches – Dinner, shopping, going to pubs, staying by weekends. In an exciting whirlwind of parties and romantic dates, they swept each other off their feet.
By short time Tanya shifted herself at Ryan’s place, & informed her parents about her Boyfriend whom she was living with. Her parents weren’t supporting her decision; they wanted her to come back. But Tanya refused, and stopped attending phone calls from her family. She had elucidated to her parents that she would visit them once Ryan would be comfortable in meeting them.
They both were happy, the bright days, the long chats, cooking together, long drives, weekends spent on countryside, it was just like a fairy tale.
Days passed by & the mismatches started to emerge. Now he liked to stay out on weekends with his friends, hang around in the bars, while she wanted his company to the theatres, shopping, spending weekends together. Tanya wanted them to meet his parents & get married. Where Ryan dint wanted to give her any commitments, they disagreed on family values. Communication broke down. Eventually, they grew apart..... Tanya still dint lose hope, she thought once they will get married, met each others family, things would become beautiful as they were in the beginning.
One fine day Tanya informed him that she was pregnant so now they must get engaged soon & that was the day when Ryan broke his silence and declared that he doesn’t wants to get married to her now or ever, he doesn’t wants to marry anyone actually. He asked to get the child aborted or else leave the house. This came as a shock to Tanya, she simply lost it all, she thought to herself if today he can ask her to leave the house if she doesn’t get the child aborted what’s the guarantee of him not kicking her out of his house some day for any other reason? She wasn’t financially strong, neither had finished her graduation, it was for the first time in her life where she realized she was weak in every aspect of Life.
Today she is standing in her room gazing outside the window, holding her baby girl in her arms. Her eyes are waiting for the love that was never sincere. No one knew what devastation Ryan’s had relation had brought to her life. But now she was back to her parents, who accepted her with open arms, stood by her side, supported her & still standing by her side to achieve her dreams, get educated & financially strong to feed herself & her baby.
Tanya swears by her daughter to achieve the success & fulfill her dreams, get financially strong, all this to give her daughter a better living,
& also to do it all for her parents who shore up her, when she had fallen without any hopes left. But still has some pain in her eyes, for her one wrong decision had changed her whole life style, & brought her to the stand where Life hardly seemed moving, the question that, would Ryan come back & accept their baby was lingering her thoughts.
Does she actually want him to come back to her? Because he is the one who used her & abandoned her at the crucial stage of their relation. But what if he really comes back to her? Shall she accept him, so that her daughter gets the love & support of father? Or is this a woman in her who wants her love to come back? With all these questions she stands there alone lost in her own thoughts.
